The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) detained volunteer Nadezhda Rossinskaya upon her entry into Belgorod. Preliminary data suggests that she is being accused of encouraging donations to the Ukrainian army. According to journalist Tatiana Grigorieva, who spoke to '7x7' on February 1, Rossinskaya purportedly returned to Russia to assist with the evacuation of dogs belonging to Ukrainians.

Law enforcers have apprehended Belgorod volunteer Nadezhda Rossinskaya (Nadin Geisler), charging her with publicly advocating actions contrary to state security (Article 280.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Rossinskaya managed to contact her acquaintances and ask for assistance in finding a lawyer.

In her conversation with '7x7,' journalist Tatiana Grigorieva disclosed that Rossinskaya had previously been warned about potential criminal charges. Grigorieva further explained that the volunteer went to Ukrainian territories currently under Russia's control to save and evacuate animals. Rossinskaya used to write about the difficult conditions that people on the occupied territories had to deal with and the lack of assistance from Russian authorities.

According to unconfirmed reports, authorities are aiming to accuse Rossinskaya of collecting humanitarian aid for the Ukrainian army. However, as noted by Tatiana Grigorieva, the young woman was solely involved in assisting civilians and their pets. Grigorieva added that Nadezhda refrained from engaging in other political or anti-war activities since May 2022 when she received a fine for distributing flowers to passers-by while dressed in yellow and blue, the colors of the Ukrainian flag. The fine was eventually canceled six months later.

In December 2023, Nadezhda Rossinskaya shared with '7x7' the story of a Ukrainian woman who was unable to leave Russia with the dogs she had previously evacuated from shelling. Russian border guards suspected that the poodles might be used for demining Ukrainian territories. Journalist Tatiana Grigorieva suggested that the volunteer was detained when she went to Russia to rescue the dogs.

Following the onset of the war in Ukraine, Nadezhda Rossinskaya founded the female volunteer movement 'Armia Krasotok' ('Army of Beauties') to aid Ukrainian civilians.
