The court fined Nikita Tushkanov 30 thousand rubles for an anti-war post on vk.com. He appealed this decision, and the court canceled the fine. The criminal investigator did not agree with such a court decision and filed a response complaint. Tushkanov reported this on his Instagram* on August 1.

Nikita Tushkanov analyzed fascist regimes on vk.com, having subsequently received a fine for discrediting the army. He appealed the decision, and the court sent the protocol for reconsideration. The appeal was delayed, the fine was eventually canceled due to the expiration of the statute of limitations.

However, the senior criminal investigator for the Ust-Vym District did not agree with this decision and filed a complaint against the judge's decision to cancel the fine. A new hearing is scheduled for August 17, 2022.

In early June, Russians raised 60 thousand rubles for Nikita Tushkanov to pay fines under articles on discrediting the military and petty hooliganism within one day. In addition, he was accused of displaying Nazi symbols, but the court dismissed the case.
