Artur Gaiduk, the regional duma’s deputy from the Yabloko Party, filed an appeal with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and suggested that he create a system to track the location of conscripts. According to the deputy, relatives of soldiers need such a solution to know where the conscripts are. The Pskov Yabloko Party reported this to 7x7.

According to Artur Gaiduk, it is necessary to create a phone line or an Internet resource that will enable finding out the location of conscripts. He said that this would help reduce the social tension that had arisen after it had become known about conscripts in Ukraine.

Early in June, Gaiduk suggested developing a law that would ban sending conscripts to the military operations in Ukraine to deputies from the regional parliament. According to him, relatives of soldiers regularly address him with such a request.

After February 24, the Russian authorities reported that there were no conscripts on the special operation, but then the Ministry of Defense officially confirmed their presence in active combat zones.

Activists had created the Priemnaya (‘reception’) Service, through which Russians can file an appeal with a deputy using a template and get responses to their questions within 30 days. The authors believe that mass appeals will draw deputies' attention to current problems, for example, a conscript's risk of being sent to Ukraine.
