Murmansk coordinator of Alexey Navalny's supporters Violetta Grudina was fined for using the agitation cube during picket in the local hyde park.
Oktyabrsky District Court of Murmansk fined Grudina 20 thousand rubles in an administrative case on violation of the law on rallies. The court considered that relocatable structures, such as the agitation cube, should be coordinated with the administration even on the territory of hyde park, where it is permitted to hold rallies without coordination. The activist told the «7x7» correspondent that she will appeal the fine.
Grudina was accused of picket, which was held on August 12. She herself learned about the administrative case only on September 21. In addition to this case, there are three more for organizing pickets in Murmansk.
In September Alexey Navalny spoke at the rally in Murmansk.
On the birthday of President Vladimir Putin on October 7, Murmansk activists joined the action in support of Navalny. Then the police detained Grudina and released into the sky a bunch of agitation balloons with symbols of a political campaign. They searched Murmansk headquarters, and compiled protocol against the coordinator in part 1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses ("Violation of the established procedure for organizing or holding a meeting, rally, demonstration, procession or picketing").
