On March 12, the court in Magnitogorsk fined Yulia Pochuyeva, a specialist at City Hall, 30,000 rubles for discrediting the army. The Court of Appeals confirmed this decision on May 15, as reported on the websites of both institutions.
According to the court's ruling, in December 2023, Pochuyeva referred to Russia as an 'aggressor' and 'occupier,' accusing the army of killing Ukrainian civilians during a conversation with her colleagues.
Three colleagues reported her to the Federal Security Service (FSB), and later testified to their claims in court, states the 'You Are Not Alone 74' service, which supports defendants in politically motivated cases.
