According to preliminary estimates, the flood damage in Orenburg Oblast amounted to 40 billion rubles, as reported by Governor Denis Pasler on April 11.

During a meeting with Vladimir Putin, the governor of Orenburg Oblast, Denis Pasler, estimated the flood damage at 40 billion rubles. However, he emphasized that this figure was 'highly provisional.'

Currently, the city of Orenburg faces the greatest risks in the region. All buildings along the Ural and Sakmara riverbanks are in the potential flooding zone, and the water draws closer to the riverside housing complexes. By the morning of April 11, the water level was nearing 11 meters.

In the last 24 hours, more than 1,500 household plots and 400 houses in Orenburg were submerged. Across Orenburg Oblast, more than 4,000 plots and 2,000 houses were affected.

In Orsk, the water continues to recede, but over 6,000 houses are still flooded. More than 1,000 locals have been placed in temporary accommodation centers. According to the Ministry of Healthcare, 14 flood victims, including 4 children, remain hospitalized.
