The Central Court of Novosibirsk dismissed the case under the article on fakes about the military against minor Mikhail Podolyak. The reason was the linguistic examination of the young man's post about the murder of civilians during the seizure of the Zaporozhye NPP. In October, the first criminal case on fakes was dismissed in Russia. Setevye Svobody (‘network freedoms’) reported this.
According to human rights advocates from Setevye Svobody, minor Mikhail Podolyak from Novosibirsk made shared a post about the murder of civilians during the seizure of the Zaporozhye NPP in his Telegram channel. Experts came to the conclusion that Podolyak's post had not contained any statements, but only a call to discuss the news. Therefore, the Central Court of Novosibirsk dismissed the case.
At the same time, the court ordered the young man to be under the supervision of his mother from 10 p. m. to 6 a. m. until December 7.
For the first time, a criminal case on fakes about the military was dismissed in October. A resident of Nizhny Novgorod posted a link to a video about the events in Bucha in social networks, and he charged with Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The Investigating Committee decided to terminate the case against the resident of Nizhny Novgorod, because the video was posted "before the Ministry of Defense released the official denial of the events in the cities of Irpen and Bucha."
