On January 14, "Republican сoalition" informed that Ukhta teachers were advised to put up a signature for nominating one of the candidates for the presidency of Russia. Presumably, we are talking about the nomination of Vladimir Putin.

Ukhta community anonymously wrote that school teachers were sent to one of the office buildings to leave their signatures and passport details there. For failure to comply with the requirements, teachers were allegedly threatened with the loss of bonus payment. An anonymous author claimed that many people had left signatures, presumably including those who had been brought by the bus of Gazprom. By the time the material was published, the record gathered more than 100 reposts.

On January 12, one of the locals went to the specified address to check whether the information was truthful. There he introduced himself as an employee of one of the schools and asked the office workers where he could sign, but he was told that the collection of signatures was over. He managed to record the conversation.

Having learned that it was already impossible to sign, one of the women either jokingly, or seriously, said that now they can deprive him of the payment.

The civil activist Oksana Harinova visited the building on January 15 and also talked to the employees of the offices.

"They confirmed that people came to leave signatures and that there were a lot of them, but they did not name the candidate. According to them, the collection of signatures was carried out on a voluntary basis. But there are no signs, no information, so the information source remains unknown," she said.

Lawyer Yury Sidorov from Chuvashia reported violations of the collection of signatures for the nomination of Vladimir Putin to the presidency of Russia. He said that women who collected signatures in one of the Cheboksary supermarkets represented the city administration.
