On October 13, scaffolding with workers collapsed at the Transneft production and dispatching plant. This information was reported by the press service of the Kirov region government.
Workers of the Kazan company "Spetsstroyservis" repaired a tank for fuels and lubricants, at 12:15 the scaffolding collapsed. 20 people suffered, four of them are in serious condition.
According to the "Echo of Moscow in Kirov", the victims were taken to the Urzhum central hospital, one person was taken to Kirov by helicopter sanaviation.
According to the press service of the Investigative Committee for the Kirov region, the case was brought under Part 1 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code ("Violation of safety rules in mountain, construction or other works").
The cause of the collapse is unknown.
