On September 11, local residents noticed oil spots on the water of the river Vyatka.
Eyewitnesses reported that the area of the bridge smelled of diesel fuel. According to photographs, oil products are floating downstream, they reached quarries near the Fyleyka microdistrict. The press service of the mayor's office specified that unknown people had drained the machine oil into the river stream, which flows into the floodplain of the Vyatka River. There are barriers on the river.
The management of Rosprirodnadzor in the Kirov region did not comment on the situation. According to the portal "Svoikirovsky", specialists of the department are aware of what happened and will respond to the scene.
