Today Ernest Mezak was detained in the closed special department of the Federal Security Service in Balashikha of the Moscow region. The human rights activist was on a business trip to find out the circumstances of his client's minor daughter confinement.
Ernest and his colleague from the KHRC "Memorial" Vladimir Zubkov dealt with this case two years ago. Villager of Vylgort of the Syktyvdinsky region of Komi Nikolai Yurkovski married a native of the Kirov region. They had a daughter, the marriage didn't work out, and the mother died of cancer. They attempted to return the child to his father.
“Relatives of the girl from Vyatsko-Polyansk are rich. They could even pay for the treatment of her mother in Germany. They tried to deprive the ward of parental rights, but a year ago the court rejected. There was a negative attitude on the part of relatives of the girl's mother. It turned out that the mother's sister took away the girl to Balashikha,” Ernest Mezak said.
According to Ernest Mezak, the aunt herself and her husband are members of the Federal Security Service.
“I had a desire to see how people enter this, in fact, closed area, to talk with management.”
After the defender tried to call the Human Resources Department, but without success, he began to photograph the object.
“The preferred method. Representatives of the military came out immediately. I told them explicitly that my client's child was kidnapped, then they suppressed the passport, I passed a resolution of the Vyatsko-Polyansky Court,” he noted.
“We came to common terms eventually, they let me go, and hearing was scheduled for July 30 in the Balashinsky City Court,” Ernest Mezak said. “It's necessary to deal with a matter: whether we will sue the military unit and the guardianship of Balashikha.”
