Communists say this is an act of civil society consolidation.

The Russian Communist Party (Internationalists) has launched a campaign called "Vote Against Everyone!" The party is urging voters to deliberately invalidate their ballots, saying it considers the upcoming elections "an imitation of free voting."

According to a statement by the RCP(i), protest voting should become a form of civic mobilization. The campaign's authors also argue that the elections may be followed by an intensification of political repression and an escalation of the armed conflict.

The party has published a leaflet template for supporters to share on social media. At the same time, the RCP(i) warned that printing and distributing campaign materials in violation of Russian election law may result in administrative liability.

🔶 The RCP(i) regularly takes part in protest campaigns. Its activists have protested against the blocking of Telegram and restrictions on YouTube, opposed increases in VAT and the recycling fee, and held solo pickets against the mass culling of livestock in Novosibirsk.
