On January 23, police officers and the Center for Combating Extremism came to the Yaroslavl headquarters of the politician Alexey Navalny. They distrained and withdrawn the leaflets that the activists printed on the eve of the coordinated rally on January 28.

Assistant coordinator Alexander Smirnov told «7x7» that law enforcement officers distrained and withdrawn the leaflets about "Strike of voters". Some of the leaflets are devoted to the upcoming rally on January 28. According to Smirnov, these leaflets were printed a few hours ago. They were also meant for the Kostroma and Arkhangelsk headquarters.


After banning from presidential elections, Alexey Navalny announced the action "Strike of voters", which implies an active boycott of the elections, and called on his supporters to observer elections.

On January 22, the coordinator of Cheboksary's headquarters was fined 1,000 rubles. Election Commission of Chuvashia recognized the leaflets as illegal agitation.
