The coordinator of the Association of Russian Carriers (ORP) in the Voronezh region Pavel Enyakin and four truck drivers activists, who set camp on Voronezh outskirts in order to participate in the all-Russian strike, were detained by the police, as reported by a Voronezh civic activist Vladislav Khodakovsky, who is staying in the camp.

According to Khodakovsky, the police forced the protesters out of the camp fence. He posted several photos from the venue on his Facebook page.

According to preliminary data, the activists were detained for disobeying of the police orders. On April 19, the repairmen of Voronezh Gorelektroset [city power grid] brought heavy equipment to the camp of truck drivers, allegedly to search for a cable break. At the same time, according to Khodakovsky, on April 21, the machines are not busy with any action. He claims that earlier the striking drivers were tried to be driven from the camp on the ground of building a park and a road junction at this place.

The drivers themselves told that Enyakin was not informed about grounds for arrest during his detention. They argue that next to the highway, where they stand, there is no cable.

On March 27, the Association of Russian Carriers announced an all-Russia strike of truck drivers against the "Platon" system (the fare for transportation of heavy trucks on federal routes). In many regions of the country, OPR drivers activists are standing on the outskirts of cities and do not go driving.
