The Khabarovsk Regional Court upheld Yulia Tsvetkova’s acquittal in the case of the distribution of pornography at the appeal hearing. The Ya/My (‘I am / we are’) Yulia Tsvetkova Telegram Channel announced the new court decision on November 22.

The case against the LGBT artist from Komsomolsk-on-Amur was initiated in 2019 because of drawings of women's bodies. On July 15, the court acquitted Yulia Tsvetkova. Opponents of LGBT filed 200 complaints with a request to open a new criminal case against the artist. In September, the prosecutor's office demanded for the fourth time that Tsvetkova's case be remitted, and a new examination be appointed. But the court rejected the appeal.

The artist's case has received a great response in Russia. In 2020, more than 50 Russian media, cultural and educational projects organized a media strike in support of femactivist Yulia Tsvetkova.
