On May 26, an independent termless action (“bessrochka”) against the import of waste from Moscow and Moscow Oblast to Arkhangelsk Oblast and the landfill construction at Shies started on Soviets Square in Kotlas. It became the third city to join the termless protest, told Anna Khudyakova, one of the protest organizers.

According to Khudyakova, the idea of «bessrochka» came after the anti-garbage rally on May 19. On this day, according to the organizers, about 7 thousand people attended Soviets Square in Kotlas (which population is 60 thousand people). The organizers are expecting from 20 to 50 people on the first day of the termless action,.

— I suggested Soviets Square, where a rally was held, for «bessrochka», and people liked it. To spread the information, we started a group on vk.com. We are still worried about those who work in «Gazprom», they were promised to be sanctioned for their active protesting — even to be fired, — said Khudyakova.

The first termless protest started in Arkhangelsk on Lenin Square after uncoordinated protests on April 7, where oblast residents opposed the landfill construction and the import of waste from other subjects of Russia. Some of the protesters refused to leave the square after the rally, people brought food, warm clothes. Over the next days, the participants of «bessrochka» were detained by police officers — the detainees were identified on the rally video and reported for violation of the established procedure of public events. The city administration announced the repair of Lenin Square. On April 29, Severodvinsk joined the termless action.
