On February 5 police stopped the action ‘Opposition walk', and detained participants in Cheboksary. This is evidenced by video of one of the participants.

On the video you can see how the police demonstrates activists their photos from other actions held previously – young people held banners with obscene words, insulting the president of Russia Vladimir Putin. Then he requires to get to the police department. According to activists, these photos are montage, and they held empty banners without slogans.

One of the participants of events Elena Blinova told correspondent of "7x7" that the police took "witness" explanations and fingerprinted the participants, but did not make a protocol of detention. According to her, activists, who call themselves supporters of the politician Vyacheslav Maltsev, regarded the police action as kidnapping and persecution on political grounds.

Earlier, according to activist, law enforcement officers have already showed attention to opposition walks: organized spying and detained activist Vyacheslav Rybakov leaving the house in the action day.
